Announcement: 15th Klever Schwanencup 2025

Date:

SA 12.04.2025 – Doubles: Start 10:00 a.m.

(Registration until 09:30 am at the tournament management)

SO 13.04.2025 – Mixed: Start 10:00 am

(Registration until 9:30 am at the tournament management)

Venue: Sports hall of the Konrad-Adenauer-Schule in Kleve Kellen, Köstersweg 41, 47533 Kleve.

Recommended address for the parking lot of the gym: Postdeich 42a in Kleve.

(Please only wear sneakers with light-colored and non-marking soles).

Eligibility:

A-field: Landesliga upwards (Holland: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Divisie)

B-field: district class & district league (Holland: 4th Divisie & transition class 1st district)

C-field: Kreisklasse & Kreisliga (Holland: 2nd/3rd/4th class district)

D-Field: Hobby players (Holland: Hobby Speler)

Classification is based on the playing class of the 2024/2025 season. Classification is always based on the playing class of the higher-class player in a pairing.

All players who are eligible to play for the seniors in the 2024/25 season are invited. Players from other national associations or countries will be classified according to their playing strength.

U19/U17 players (born between 2006 and 2009) can also take part – please state their year of birth when registering. The tournament management reserves the right to classify participants higher if necessary.

Disciplines: Mixed, men’s doubles, women’s doubles

Mode: Group matches followed by a knockout system using the official tournament rules. Subject to change depending on the number of participants. There are 8 courts available for the matches.

Entry fee:

16.00 EUR per doubles or mixed.

The entry fees are due with the registration and must be transferred to the club account at Volksbank Kleverland with the reference “15. Klever Schwanencup Spielername(n)” to

IBAN DE96 3246 0422 0701 6980 10. For entries via turnier.de also with paypal. The entry fees can no longer be paid on the day of the tournament, but must be transferred in advance by 02.04.2025. The registration fee will not be refunded if a participant drops out after the registration deadline (02.04.2025).

Prizes: The 1st – 3rd place winners will receive certificates, cash or non-cash prizes

Registration deadline: Wednesday, 02.04.2025 (email receipt)

If the number of participants is too high, the number of entries received will be decisive.

Any changes to the schedule will be communicated to the participants, provided that an email address is provided with the registration.

Balls:

The A, B and C classes will be played with natural feather balls approved by the BLV-NRW, which are to be provided by the participants themselves. In the C field, plastic balls may also be used if agreed, which must also be provided. In the D field, synthetic shuttlecocks are used, which must also be provided by the participant.

Miscellaneous:

Catering will be provided throughout the tournament. Please enquire about overnight accommodation or hotel arrangements in good time when registering.

There will be a small raffle for all participants on both days.

The draw will take place immediately after the registration deadline and will be made available on the Internet (www.bc-kleve.de/Schwanencup) for all participants.
